Direct Benefit Transfer of PG (GATE/ GPAT) Scholarship 2013

On-line proposals are invited from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approved institutions/university departments for disbursement of Postgraduate Scholarship for the 1st Year students admitted in the academic year 2013-14 and 2nd Year students admitted in the academic year 2012-13 with valid GATE /GPAT score in M.E./M.Tech./M.Pharma programmes. 

Procedure to be followed by Institutes and students eligible for PG scholarship where they have been admitted:

• All the Institutes shall upload the PG students details on the AICTE portal on or before 30th August, 2013 and distribute student Unique ID generated by the system to all the PG students admitted in the Institute. 
• All the Postgraduate students having valid GATE/GPAT and admitted in AICTE approved Institutions or University departments shall collect student Unique ID from the Institute and Login on the AICT E web portal at www.aicte-india. org and upload following on the portal
• Scanned PDF copy of GATE/GPAT score card
• Scanned PDF copy of the Passbook
• Scanned copy of the Aadhar card, if available
• The Institute shall then verify the student data and approve his/her candidature on the portal. (Students verification) 
• Thereafter the institute shall verify the student data and approve for eligibility disbursement of the scholarship. ,Scholarship disbursement approval) 

1. The Institute shall also upload following information in the format available on the on the portal
2. Utilisation certificate fort he last grant released
3. Receipt and Payment account statement
4. Indemnity Bond duly signed by the Head of the institute

Important Dates:

• Last date for the institutes to upload the PG students details on the AICTE portal:30th August, 2013
• Last date for uploading information by the students on AICTE Webportal: 15Ih September, 2013
• Last date for the Institutes to complete the procedure of student data verification and approval for the eligibility for the receipt of scholarship 25th September, 2013
