Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies Scholarships @ University of Oxford, UK

University of Oxford, UK, invites applications for Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies (OCIS) Scholarships 2014 for students pursuing full-time graduate programs at the university. These Scholarships have been established by the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies to allow graduates to pursue study of benefit to the Muslim world.

Scholarship Details:

  1. This scholarship will cover 100% of university and college fees and a grant for living costs (sufficient to cover living costs in Oxford).
  2. If scholarship is offered for a course lasting more than one year, the continuation of the scholarship each year is subject to an annual renewal process based upon satisfactory academic progress.

Eligibility:
  • Candidates who are applying for full-time graduate course at Oxford are eligible for this scholarship.
  • Students who are ordinarily resident in the following countries in Asia and Africa are also eligible.

How to Apply:

  • Candidates must apply at the same time as they apply to Oxford by selecting Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies Scholarships (OCISS) in the funding section of the university's graduate application form.
  • In order to be considered for this scholarship, Candidates must submit their application for graduate study by the relevant January deadline for their course (10 January 2014 for Medical Sciences, Philosophy, Politics & International Relations and Computer Science; 24 January 2014 for all other subjects).

Important Dates:
Last date for submission of application: 10-24 January 2014 (depending on the course)
