Eligibility:
Students belonging to the State of Jammu & Kashmir, pursuing general degree courses, medical courses, engineering courses, etc. outside the State of J&K, may apply for scholarship under this scheme. Details of the scheme are given in the guidelines.
How to Apply:
The students seeking scholarship under this scheme have to COMPULSORILY apply through the web-portal of AICTE, aicte.ac.in
Important Dates:
The last date for receipt of applications for the ‘Special Scholarship Scheme for Jammu & Kashmir’ is 30th SEPTEMBER, 2013.
NOTE: Only 5 students in a particular college would be awarded the scholarships under this scheme regardless of the number of students from J&K admitted in a particular college, including the students admitted under the supernumerary quota. In case more than 5 students belonging to J&K are admitted in a particular institute / college, then the scholarship would be given to the top 5 students according to merit, based on the marks secured by them in the Class XII or equivalent exam.
