Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), Thiruvananthapuram, invites applications for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) 2013 tenable at Space Physics Laboratory (SPL). Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre is one of the lead centers of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO).
Scholarship Details- The fellowship is initially for a period of one year and is renewable annually for a total period of five years.
- There will be a review of the activity before renewal. As of now, the fellowship carries an amount of Rs. 16,000 per month, which might be increased to Rs. 18,000/- after completion of two years.
Eligibility
- Candidates with first class M.Sc. degree in Physics / Applied Physics / Atmospheric Science / Meteorology / Space Science / Planetary Sciences / Astronomy & Astrophysics with minimum 60% marks as average of all semesters or CGPA / CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10 point scale or equivalent are eligible to apply.
- Those who are slated to complete the M.Sc. course in the academic year 2012-2013 are also eligible to apply provided final year mark list (satisfying the eligibility criteria) is to be produced at the time of selection.
