Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR (SDSC), Sriharikota, invites applications for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) 2013 in the area of Meteorology. Satish Dhawan Space Centre is one of the lead centers of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO).
Scholarship Details- Selected candidates will get a fellowship of Rs. 16,000/- p.m. for 1st & 2nd year Rs.16,000/- (consolidated) & for the subsequent years Rs.18,000/- p.m. (consolidated).
- JRF will be engaged initially for one year and their term shall be extended based on need and assessment of their work and requirement of project. The maximum period of JRF shall not exceed four years.
Eligibility
- Candidates done first class M.Sc. in Meteorology with 65% marks and above aggregate of all semesters / years are eligible to apply. Or
- Candidates passed first class M.Tech. in Atmospheric Science (with M.Sc. or Physics with 60% marks and above aggregate of all semesters/years can apply.
- Candidate doing research in atmospheric modeling with the above qualification may also apply.
