Postgraduate Research Studentships @ Queen Mary’s Doctoral College

Queen Mary’s Doctoral College, London is awarding over £10million in studentships to support the most talented and ambitious new researchers. Successful applicants are awarded generous studentships to cover fees and living costs in recognition of the vital role that they will play in our lively research community.

Eligibility

• Queen Mary Studentships are open to UK, EU and international students. They cover tuition fees and a maintenance allowance of £15,590 per year
• Studentships funded through the doctoral training partnerships with the UK research councils, including Medical Research Council (MRC) funded studentships, are generally available only to UK and EU students.

How to apply

• First consult the list of academic projects below and read the detailed information provided for each one.
• Read the Studentship Profile where provided (not all studentships provide one) and check that you meet the requirements listed under Knowledge, Skills and Experience
• Send a copy of your CV and a covering letter to your proposed supervisor before 5pm on 11th November 2013
• Only those applicants pre-selected by the supervisor will be required to complete a full online application
• The closing date for online applications for those pre-selected will be 2nd December 2013
• Interviews will be held on 6th December 2013. Applicants, including those based outside the UK, should expect to attend an interview in the London on this date.
• Please note that there is a separate deadline for the British Heart Foundation (BHF) four-year PhD of 6th December 2013
