University Grants Commission is inviting applications for the award of Postgraduate Indira Gandhi Scholarship for Single Girl Child for the academic session 2013-15.
Scholarship Details
The objective of the scholarship is to support postgraduate education of single girl child in non-professional courses.
Eligibility
Candidates admitted in post-graduate first year regular non-professional degree course in any recognized university or a post-graduate college during the current year i.e. 2013-14 are eligible. Students admitted in open universities are not eligible for the scholarship.
Value of the award
The value of Scholarship amount is Rs. 2,000 per month for a period of two years only i.e. full duration of a PG course.
